he Maritime Club Championship Group Stage is officially in the books! The tournament kicked off with 12 teams per age and gender category, and the competition has now been fiercely narrowed down to the top four. The highly anticipated semi-finals and finals will take place this August in Halifax.
Home Field Advantage and Broncos Success We were incredibly fortunate to host the U15 AAA Boys and U17 AAA Boys stages right here at home. It was a fantastic opportunity for our athletes to play in front of friends, family, and clubmates. The weekend featured some outstanding action, highlighted by our very own Fundy Soccer Association Downey Ford Saint John U15 AAA Boys Broncos finishing at the top of their group. They will now move on to the semi-finals in August.
Strong Performances on the Road While the boys competed locally, we also witnessed incredibly strong performances from our U15 AAA and U17 AAA Girls squads, who rode the bus to compete in Cape Breton.
The Value of Club Soccer This type of club-based competition is long overdue. Club soccer remains at the absolute heart of all player development, and this tournament showcased exactly why.
