Meet the club
Good people. Serious soccer.
Start with the obvious: we love this game. Fundy Soccer Association is the non-profit, volunteer-driven home of soccer in the Kennebecasis Valley — headquartered in Rothesay and drawing players from Hampton, Quispamsis and the communities around Greater Saint John.
Here's what makes us us: we refuse to choose between fun and serious. Five-year-olds learn the game with no standings and no pressure. Teenagers chase provincial titles with licensed coaches. Both belong here equally — that's the whole point of a community club with a competitive backbone.

The competitive backbone
Premier & AAA
Our top-tier youth squads challenge for provincial titles year after year — and our alumni carry the badge onward to Team New Brunswick, professional MLS academies and AUS/USports university rosters.
See Where Our Players GoMission, vision & values
To engage our community through a soccer experience that is welcoming, fun, and safe — for all.
Our vision: to lead the sporting community with integrity by providing meaningful opportunities to develop, compete, and grow.
-
Welcoming
There’s a place here for first-timers, late starters and kids who just want to run around with their friends. You belong before your first touch.
-
Integrity
Honest, fair, transparent, accountable. In the boardroom, on the sideline, and in every call we make.
-
Community
Three towns, one badge. We’re neighbours coaching neighbours — and it shows on and off the field.
-
Competitive
We build environments where players push themselves and find out how good they can really be.
-
Excellence
Quality programming, licensed coaching, and a club that keeps raising its own bar — safely, and for the love of it.
Our story
Thirty years in the making.
Organizations don't earn a community's trust overnight. Here's how we earned ours.
- The 1990s
Roots in the Valley
Fundy Soccer enters the Kennebecasis Valley’s sports record alongside the region’s legacy clubs — a community association built by parents, for kids.
- The 2000s
The competitive anchor
While neighbouring clubs focus on city recreation, Fundy becomes the region’s home for competitive soccer, with Arthur Miller Fields as its home ground.
- The 2010s
Raising the standard
FSA aligns with Canada Soccer’s grassroots and high-performance standards and becomes a major donor to the Saint John Field House, unlocking year-round indoor training.
- Today
One club. Every level.
From U6 grassroots to Nxt Gen Academy, provincial call-ups and university commitments — the pathway is real, and it keeps growing.
How we develop players
Every kid. Two promises.
Some kids come for Saturday mornings with their friends. Some come to chase something bigger. We built the club so both are true at once.
If your kid just wants to play
- Fun-first grassroots formats from age four — no standings, no pressure, no bench.
- House League teams with school friends and weeknight games close to home.
- Confidential financial assistance, because cost should never bench a kid.
If your kid wants more
- Tryout-based Premier & AAA squads led by licensed coaches.
- Nxt Gen Academy technical training on year-round indoor turf.
- A real route onward — Team NB call-ups, MLS academy scouting, university rosters.
The people
Faces behind the badge.
Nobody at FSA is in it for the money — there isn't any. The club runs on parents, neighbours and alumni who put their hand up.
The coaches
Licensed technical staff lead our competitive and academy programs; trained parent volunteers power everything else. Every coach is screened, supported and certified through the club.
The board
A volunteer board of directors meets monthly to steer programming, player pathways, fields and finances.
- Meghan McConchie President
The next generation
Every summer, FSA becomes one of the area's biggest youth employers — local students run our camps, technical sessions and field logistics, and leave with real leadership experience.
